Tayla Moeykens is currently #13 in barrel racing, having won over $20k, with first place finishes at Helldorado Days in Vegas and Dixie National in Mississippi. She finished 2nd in the Montana Circuit Finals.
Next up: Rodeo Houston! RH is huge, with a total purse over $2M, and a solid performance can set a clear path to NFR. It is a tournament format that starts with five 3-day pools. Tayla’s pool will run March 7-9.

Sunday was a great day for Bobcat Ladies. As our basketball team was cruising in Boise, Tayla Moeykens cruised to a 2nd place finish in Go 3 of Super Series 2 at Rodeo Houston. Her $3,250 in was enough to advance to Semifinal 2 on March 20

Tayla Moeykens is currently ranked 10th in the world in barrel racing. There are two weeks left in the rodeo season to determine who gets to go to NFR in December. She cleaned up at the Pendleton Round Up last weekend pulling in over $16k. That should punch her ticket to Vegas.

I just don't think there is enough money left for six ladies to jump her and knock her to 16th, where she finished last year. The Governor's Cup in Sioux Falls pays a ton of money, but most of the cowgirls there are already NFR bound.
