Is it just a strategy now to let us get up by 10+ with 3 minutes left?

Logie teams cannot close.

0 FG in 4 minutes. Can't shoot, can't guard, can't rebound....

Unbelievable. We had just enough of a lead to pull out a 3 point lead but these collapses are becoming a trend. Logie needs to take a long hard look at his close-out strategy because this ain't it.

Made the mistake of tuning in for the last couple of minutes to watch this team almost blow a double digit lead yet again. Cal Poly got it down to 1 a couple of times inside the last minute. The Bobcats won only because Cal Poly ran out of time. Team is really hard to watch. Good D-1 road win, but geez.

I thought we won. That is a positive, right? Maybe we will build off of this and the timing is right. one tune up game and the the start of the conference schedule. We definitely need to make free throws during crunch time, though. Yikes.

Keaton is amazing and MSU is incredibly lucky to have him, I think he has very big things ahead of him in his career. I was watching his YouTube broadcast you linked for the last few minutes of the game last night and kept thinking that I'd have been absolutely losing my mind as MSU let Cal Poly back into it with turnovers and missed FTs.

Maybe it's a positive. Thought we had this figured out several games ago.

We did and then the injuries to King and Holden set us back.

I was checking out the Net rankings just now and was mildly surprised to see MSU ranked as #158 which puts them solidly in the top half of all D-1 teams. They're ranked #4 in the Big Sky behind UNC (102), Idaho State (113), and Idaho (138). The rest of the Big Sky teams in order are Weber (177), Portland State (187), UM (232 - wow), EWU (262), NAU (264), and Sac State (266). Seems likely that we're viewing MSU's performance in non-conference a bit more negatively than we should due to the multiple close game losses they've had.

This team has been in every game so far. Need to figure out how to finish. I think they’ll be a tough out in conference.

Griz lost to Montana Tech tonight. They're really struggling so far, UNC appears to be the best team in the Big Sky at this point.

What's going on with the griz? All I ever hear is Money Williams this and Money Williams that. Do they have any other players? I've seen this happen before and they still beat us so not getting my hopes up.

You're absolutely right that we've seen this before and they'll probably still end up near or at the top of the Big Sky standings come March. From what I've seen while watching them they've got talented individual players but are struggling to figure out how to cohesively play as a team. MSU kind of has the opposite issue, I feel like they play well as a team most of the time but sometimes they have trouble finding that one guy who can take over and finish off a close game.
