WBB Roster Update

Post by MSU01 » Thu May 15, 2025 7:16 pm

Women's basketball updated their 2025-26 roster today. The main thing I saw that's noteworthy is that Drea Brumfield is no longer listed on the player roster but has moved into the same Student Manager role that Lindsey Hein was in last season.

The outgoing transfer players have also been added back to the archived 2024-25 roster, which is nice to see.

Not a single senior and only 3 juniors. Can we keep this crew together? [-o<

It lists 10 guards & 3 forwards which would leave openings for up to 2 more players. Be nice to find at least one more forward/post/center/big (or whatever it’s called).

They are called x-tall guards now.

I think this allows Drea to keep her scholarship. A number of retired players have done this. I believe Kenzie Stumne was one. I’m sorry for Drea — just hope it heals and doesn’t bother her in real life.

That’s more than a bit concerning. It seems it will be much harder with free-for-all transferring, and I think having the covid-seniors probably affected this as well. So, what’s the over/under on keeping the three juniors through their senior years?

Which gives me an idea as to how to retain your players. Recruit as many nursing majors as you can — it’s a very tough transfer as you can lose your placement priority for clinical, etc.
