I like the pickups Logie has had

Wow, anyone out there still concerned about Logie not recruiting enough big guys? We'll have to wait and see how well they can play but MSU will be running out some very tall lineups next season.

My concern-can our new bigs play in Logie's system? 6'10" BJ Kolly apparantly could not. Rooting for these new guys figure it out. If not, at least we'll look good walking through the airport...

Good point, it will be interesting to see if Logie can figure out how to use all these guys effectively. He can't bench them all since they make up about half the roster at this point!

After the first two years, it looks as if Logie's style in putting together a cogent team that works together is a slow iterative process. So with this many new players it may take half a season to see any real "top level" play from the team. As with his first team he has to identify a leader or leaders and then experiment right up until the last couple of weeks to get the team he wants to go into the conference tournament with. As we have seen, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't, but this is what a coach needs to do in this time of the portal.
