Lineup change?! No BWalk?!
Cats are playing really well. Ball movement is finding the open player!
Just now seeing the thread title. No BS here

Tyler Patterson is letting the threes go and it is nice to see us finding open players. The guys are a little lost out there, but it seems they are learning and hustling for rebounds is good to see too. I'm sure they know this is a must win if they want to fight for tourney position.

All Logie said in postgame was coaches decision, wanted to get pace up and ball movement going.

It worked! Cats more than showed that they play better w/o him! Possessions were up, the ball flowed, and the middle didn’t get clogged up. Be interesting going forward.

If you had told me this morning that one Bobcat basketball team would win by 27 today and the other would lose by 4, this is not the combination of results I'd have assumed would happen.

Playing the worst team in the league also probably helped. It'll be interesting to see what we do against Idaho on Monday.

Tyler Patterson hit 8 3's. That's great. Where has that been all season. If Tyler Patterson hits 8 threes we're probably gonna win.

Patterson was able to go 8-12 from 3 because he legitimately had 12
wide open shots that came in rhythm. That hasn’t happened this year because of the lack of rhythm the offense has had most of the year (ie the BW problem). He doesn’t play and the offense has their season high in assists (23), 3pt shooting %, and I believe FG shooting %. Playing Sac definitely helps boosts those numbers but the offense playing in rhythm helps everyone on the floor. *its not a coincidence*
I went after Logie a little bit after last game I have to give him his flowers. This is a change I’ve wanted to see because it was needed and it’s for the betterment of the team. Hopefully the guys use it and it fuels a deep run in Boise!
This truly was the best example of “Logie Ball” we’ve seen this year and will probably be a blueprint for him next year. He’s going to have to replace basically the entire roster but expect next years team to “flow” very similar to this

I love that he changed things up. Why didn't he do it sooner? Maybe because on the last weekend of the season there's not going to be much film on it and maybe opposing coaches won't quickly adjust. Last season's tournament win was due to a very late change in game plan-bringing in Olmstead for big minutes and having Robert Ford go crazy. Is Logie a mad scientist? Still, Patterson has had plenty of open looks missed in his career including one late against the griz. He had a great game today, but can he keep it up. I hope so. I haven't watched the replay yet. Was Sac's defense slacking? Are they still playing hard?

If Patterson and Mullins both score in the 20s, this team will be a tough draw at Boise. Good to see Goracke with 5 points

No he didn't. I wonder if Logie wanted BW to see what the offense can look like and challenge him to rise up. Or maybe Logie will encourage BW to hit the portal because he's not a good fit for the offense Logie wants to run.

Since the Idaho game doesn't matter all that much I almost hope that Logie plays Walker so that whoever MSU plays first in Boise has absolutely no clue what to expect next Monday.

The guys looked damn good yesterday. Kudos to the whole program for not mailing it in after a tough Brawl of the Wild followed by another rough road loss to Portland State. I’m excited to see if they can follow it up with a season ending win vs. the Vandals on Senior Night.
