Down by 11 after the first quarter, Chirrick and Picton creating all kinds of havoc in generating a 14-0 run to start the 2nd quarter. As impressive of a defensive sequence as I've ever seen.

Cats go 30-16 in second quarter to lead 41-38 at half. Cats playing 10 while NAU only playing 7. Have to think that will pay off in 4th.

Up 9 to start the 4th quarter. Morales has 25 so far. Dykstra can't get anything to fall. Morales, Picton, and Philip have really played well.

Bobcats win 87-81. Win was keyed by great defense-creating turnovers and helped by 10 three pointers. Esme Morales loves playing in Flagstaff with 30 points tonight. First win over the Fighting Flagstaffs since the 2022 Big Sky title game.

This win was extremely impressive. It is so tough to beat good teams on the road! This team will be at home next Thursday night against Idaho State and then Saturday afternoon against Weber State. We need to have a great turnout. This is a FUN team to watch!

I said on another thread that I've been waiting for Morales to have a breakout game on offense. She certainly picked a good time to do it. A couple of those shots she hit were ridiculously hard.

Lady Cats are a very solid squad. Just never know who will step up game to game. That makes them just that much harder to beat. Nice win ladies.

The Bobcats are up to #63 in today's Net Rankings. It's very rare to see any Big Sky team get up that high. They're in a great spot so far, alone in first place at 4-0 in conference play and they've beaten both teams that are 3-1.
