This should be an amazing year for the Womens Basketball team, and you can get your 1st look this Thursday at the Blue and Gold scrimmage. I also heard that Madison Hall (Formally Madison Jackson) will be the Color Commentator for that game along side the usual Play-by-Play fat guy Ian Laird.

Always on a day only Bozeman folks can attend.

Did you also hear where or how one could watch or listen to the Color & Play-by-Play if not in person?

The Scrimmage will not be on any radio or TV, but the 1st official game (Chadron State on November 4th) will be on both Radio and ESPN+

Will Jack be there all season or just a few games?

Working around her work schedule. She will be there for as many games as she can, and there are plans to have other guest announcers as well.

I like Gregorak in part because he has insights and perspective that only an insider would know. Madison and her natural spunk can do the same thing for these broadcasts. I think this is a home run.

Is there a Men's scrimmage scheduled. Haven't received an email about that. Just the kickoff dinner at Riverside.

Not a public scrimmage for the Men. They had a closed scrimmage last week with MSUB.

Men are headed to Orem, UT this weekend for a scrimmage vs. Utah Valley University- and they are picked to be somewhere in the middle of the WAC.

Will someone please give us a little bit of insight on the Women's Blue/Gold scrimmage tonight?

I haven't actually read it yet but there is a report from MSU. Hopefully there's some good stuff in there.

This team is probably the deepest team that MSU has ever had. They could go all 15 players deep, and not miss a beat. The freshman Harris and Cheerick stood out the most from that group. Really impressed with ball movement, and unselfish play. You could also tell the closeness of all the players. This team (if healthy) is going to run Big Sky teams off the floor...

This team may also be the tallest they ever had. Only 4 of them are under six feet with one of them, Chirrick (not using the pronunciation name guide  ), almost being six foot in height.

I think the Ideal Binford team would be one where all the players were 6-0 to 6-2 with two 5-7 point guards. The point guards would be quick/fast dynamic guards and all the other players who can run the floor, are good shooters and are interchangeable.

I wanted to make it to the scrimmage but I have a family member recovering from surgery. Can anyone tell me/us who did not play last night? A lot of players who started last year have injuries they are recovering from.

Lexi and Taylor were in street clothes. I didn't see Natalie at all. I think everyone else played. Athleticism of the freshmen really stood out.
I think our guards, Natalie and Esme, are both 5'5", so pretty close to what you described.

The Women's team plays against their Scout team (made up of about 11 male college students that volunteer for the year). They play a full game (4 10 minute quarters) with a 10 minute half. They have local Highschool refs that come in. They run it just like a normal game, with fouls tracked, and timeouts. The MSU Women ended up winning by about 30 I believe.

I also did not not see Natalie. I wonder why she was not there?

We have some very good additions for this season. Erickson started a little slow but really flashed as she got into the flow of the game.
Chirrick and Harris looked like veterans.

I thought Berry was playing with a confidence I did not see last season.
