Updated MBB Roster

The 2024-25 MBB roster was updated today. One new player we hadn't heard about is Myles Moskowitz, 5'11" freshman from Boulder, CO. Assuming he's a walk-on.
Awfully hard to say with so much roster movement and a few talented incoming transfers. Walker, Goracke, and Patterson are the three guys I'd feel most comfortable naming as likely starters simply because they've been there before and all played well in that role. As we also saw last year, the five guys who start the games aren't always the same as the five guys who finish them. Maybe mslacat has some more insight, he tends to have great information to share!
Another big factor that could affect the roster is injuries. Max Agbonkpolo is an incredibly gifted player, but how healthy will he be? If I could be sure he was at 100%, I’d definitely have him in the starting lineup.MSU01 wrote: ↑Wed Sep 18, 2024 3:45 pmAwfully hard to say with so much roster movement and a few talented incoming transfers. Brandon Walker will bring the ball up as the point forward...why not? They do it in the NBA all the time now-a-days.mslacat wrote: ↑Wed Sep 18, 2024 6:28 pmAnother big factor that could affect the roster is injuries. More important than who the five starters will be is figuring out who will take on the role of starting point guard. The only true point guard on the roster, in my opinion, is Jed Miller. Is he ready to take on that responsibility? Freshman walk-on Myles Moskowitz is also a point guard, but again, he’s a walk-on. Transfers Jeremiah Davis and Bryce Zephir played some point guard in junior college, but more as backup options since they were primarily wings.
Fischer is at Western Carolina, for what it is worth. Sounds like he is doing really well. He has put on about 12 lbs and sounds like he has had a great summer up to this point. His Stepdad said he will play right away barring injury, as he is more than holding his own in training and practices.msu_agfan wrote: ↑Wed Sep 18, 2024 10:31 amAnyone wish we could get more.looks at our new team? I'm following Fisher Brown at Eastern Carolina and they constantly are putting their guys in social media.
