Not a bad thing at all. In terms of national exposure for the program, playing a First Four game with all eyes on you is definitely not worse than getting buried on TruTV on Thursday or Friday afternoon with three other games going on at the same time. MSU has a great shot at winning a game, I guarantee their opponent won't be as good as Weber State or Montana who they ran out of the arena over the past three days.

Corcoran did an interview with the ESPN+ pregame show before the semifinals and you could just tell he was sure that the Griz were going to win the title with EWU, UNC, and Weber all eliminated. Dude is a decent announcer but such a homer, so it was extra sweet last night to see his "oh no" face on TV as MSU pulled away.

He wasn't the only one. Go listen to Skylines podcast from yesterday. Colter and Brooks pretty much guaranteed the griz would score 75 (at first it was 80 then Colter said 75). They try to be neutral but they didn't give the Cats much of a chance. I mean I was hopeful but Cats had just not matched up well in the first 2 games versus them so I wasn't confident. That said I knew the team playing now was not the same team earlier in the season and it seemed the analysis bros still had not figured that out.

Kyle Hansen on the Big Sky post game show looks really dejected.

It was one of my favorite parts of the post-game festivities. I'm sure he was just tired, but if the outcome would have been different he would have found a little more juice somewhere. He kept trying to basically say "what fluke happened to the griz here?", and Tanaka Beard wasn't having it. Said the Bobcats defense was just so good.

I have to spend the next couple days in Missoula and was really dreading hearing all the big dance talk out of gris fans. I'm actually looking forward to the trip now.

You want to know how significant the win by THE Montana State University Bobcats Men's basketball team is....?
This board is usually dominated by the Bobcat Football forum in terms of the number of posts and replies on said board. Even during the basketball season and the past couple years season runs, the football board has been more popular. Well... there hasn't been a single post on the the Bobcat Football forum for about 24 hours. Yes I know not much is happening pertaining to Bobcat Football, but nonetheless, that's how significant the game was and how important the Big Sky Conference championship win is. Fricking awesome!! Go Bobcats!
