To me all he does is stand outside and miss 3's. No movement, no cuts to the basket. Looked it up, he averages 1.2 RPGs for his career.

The crowd is trying and they are responding a bit on the defensive end at least.

Can't believe we are actually in this with 24 seconds to go. Tough to watch, but they are fighting thru this slump

This team has shown incredible heart and hustle in this come back effort. Even if they come up for, I am impressed!

He's much more active defensively this year. Using the length to get in passing lanes. Still not much of a rebounder or dribbler.

This game shows us just how far we've dropped since Danny left. No talent, no crowd, no leadership on the court, just nothing. It's sad but reality.
Dude…

Might as well fire Logie for this lack luster performance though 4 games. He beat a power 5 school in his first year but… While we’re at it we could let go the whole football staff and cancel the playoffs for losing to the bear school. Might as well let Costello go because he hired those guys. Maybe we should think long and hard about Waded too. Starts at the top!! ](*,) ;)

Tuned in late, is Walker fouled out? The ESPN box score shows him with only 4 fouls.

We have 53 points in OT. This is high school talent. Everyone wants Logie to succeed. It just isn't going to happen soon. Many Montana high schools draw better crowds. The program went light years backwards. That's a fact. Crucify me if you want.

We've lost 2 games by a last second missed layup. Stinks, but it's early in the year and early in this new coaches career. Go Cats! Hope more shots drop in the next one because that was a brutal game.

Oh boy oh boy. Losing McMahon is a massive blow. We were pretty athletically challenged as it was. If we're going to be small and slow we need to be able to shoot it...and well that's not so good either. This is a massive rebuilding job Logie has in front of him there's no way around that. Once teams have some film on us it's going to be ugly.

Yeah, beat Cal and the next game lose to Green Bay. I’ve seen this movie before.

The high school talent is sure doing a pretty good job competing against Division 1 college opponents. But yeah, MSU has taken a step back this year. How couldn't they when they just lost their coach and five or six best players from last year's team, then their best returning player to a second consecutive season ending injury? Sprinkle finished 5th in the Big Sky in Year 1 and Year 2, so we've seen before how long it takes to build a championship team even with a once-in-a-generation coach.

It's tough to imagine a worse night to draw a basketball crowd than the Monday night of Thanksgiving week.

This is a very unathletic division 1 basketball team. I personally think Logie is a great coach, but he has a huge rebuilding project in front of him. The fans need to be patient with him because the cupboard is currently very bare.

I'm a lot more concerned with how many 3-pointers MSU is missing so far than with the coaching staff, who is doing a hell of a job with the talent they have available this year.

The staff signed most of them. If we are shooting 15% from 3 and not rebounding and down injured players why are we redshirting anyone. Let's see what they can do.

Man, I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt for playing hard, but this looks like last year's practice squad. Anytime you have Bob Ford and Sam Lecolat as your go-to players you are in trouble for the season.

Yes I think its gonna be a long year and no one we have is gonna bring in the fans like Raquan Battle, Great Osobar, and Jubrile Belo. Who gets excited watching Sam Lecolat flail away with the ball in the lane and miss point blank layups. However, he seems to be our best 3 point threat! Ford had an anomaly game. I don't think he's ever had more than 10 points before. I don't see Walker ever having another game like the one at Cal. He's too out of shape. Patterson has been putting up 3's for 3 or 4 years and still has only had 3 or 4 games where he's even Luke warm!

You have to give them credit for hustle and giving everything they have.

Robert Ford III deserves a shout-out for his effort in the comeback tonight. From the step-back three, stone-cold free throws, aggressive rebounds, he was the one player who just refused to lose. Robert, thank you for sticking around and becoming a rare “returning player.”
