There is an entire program in New Mexico State looking for places to land. I would think they all can't be criminals.

The Grand Canyon kid above ____ Would never see the floor at GCU next year. Bryce Drew has hit portal hard and this young man saw the writing on the wall. Started 25 games only averaged 5.0 PPG ____ .486 FG% shooter and .000% 3PT% and 5.9 rebounds a game.... Don't waste any offer here.
Why would you include his 3 point shooting, he attempted literally zero shots, he's a defensive/rebound minded big, he's not a scorer. He was 2nd on the team in rebounds. Started his career at Nebraska.

Not saying he's a guy we should necessarily pursue but that's like including Shaq's 3 point %.

Dawson's always had an agenda here, mostly negative. Has been quiet these last couple of seasons when things were good. Now that the program has been torn to shreds, he's back...

Eric Curry STILL makes me sad.

That was a good one there CelticCat. I haven't looked it up but including Shaq's 3 point % might make him look better than his FT %

Yeah, but he missed 100% of the shots he didn't take...

Just kidding, I agree that's an extremely dumb stat to single out. 5.9 RPG isn't bad, most college teams don't have a guy out there averaging 8-10 RPG like the NBA. (Or like the NBA 25 years ago when I was watching it, I dunno what they have now.) 5 PPG and 6 RPG is like a Devin Kirby season, and right now given the team's lack of a post presence on defense, I would absolutely take Devin Kirby.

We need post players. We are loaded at guard in my book, but really only Sam and Chika are post players. We need to get a couple more big guys or we are going to be in trouble.

The cap on men's basketball is 13 scolarships.

While registering my vehicles the assessor stated "I have had both Cat and Griz students and alums work for me and the Griz end up working under the direction of the Cats."

Possible incoming transfers this week:

Eddie Turner III - Columbia University point guard by way of Garfield HS in Seattle PG
Yvan Ouedraogo - Grand Canyon University (previously at Nebraska) 6' 9" 250 lbs. PF

Turner III could be a likely commit this week, while Yvan is weighing multiple options to include NIL offers that might kick us out of the running, from what I have heard.

Thanks for the update! Turner is a bit of a mystery since he was at Columbia for 4 years but only ever appeared in 18 games. Had some decent stats in the 9 games he did play as a junior. If nothing else he'd definitely keep the team GPA high!

6'6" guard. Looks like he knows what the weight room is for too. Kind of like the kids Logie has brought in, especially recalling that Texass Tech game two years ago.

His height seems to be a bit of an unsolved mystery. It's 6'6" at his previous college, 6'3" at his JC, and 6'4" on his twitter.

I'm going with 6'5" just because that's the kind of person I am.
