As everyone now knows EWU defeated Washington State in the NIT. I looked at WSU's schedule and they won 17 but were very competitive against top notch teams, like Arizona, etc.

I'm sure Sprinkle has made it clear that MSU is battle tested and ready to take on K State. This will not be a repeat of last year's debacle against Tex Tech, of that I'm confident.

Looking forward to tonights matchup. Tall order to upset KSU, but I think our odds are better than a year ago. Watching Kennesaw State this morning, giving Xavier a fight....this is another 14-3 matchup.

I like that we still have Roger Craft on our side during this game. There used to be a very solid Kansas-MSU connection or pipeline. Whatever one wants to call it. I certainly hope last years point guard helps recruiting that area again (I know he is from Illinois, but...).

Pretty good performance by the 14 seeds so far...Kennesaw State led Xavier by 13 in the second half but ended up losing by 5, and UCSB led Baylor at the half though Baylor is now up by 9.

I love the look-away pass by Darius Brown II in the picture above. He’s got the defender’s feet absolutely helpless. Those are the things that separate the really good players from the herd, and they are very hard to see, especially on TV. Excellent picture of an excellent player.
