I'll switch to this and end the day with more disappointment most likely.

Re: MBB at New Mexico
Men cap off a perfect day by losing to New Mexico by 3.
We had a 4 point lead with about 5 or 6 minutes to go and Bishop turned it over twice in a row. Bishop is a walking talking turnover machine, but Sprinkle is going to ride with him. Kellen Tynes is the backup point guard but he has very little offensive ability. I think as he gets more in tune with the team RaeQuan Battle is going to become more and more of a factor for us. Andrew Patterson had a nice game.
New Mexico isn't expected to be very good, but the Pit is always a tough environment so probably not a terrible loss. Better than getting run out of the gym in Brookings, South Dakota. This team needs to figure out how to win. We're probably an upper half team in the Big Sky, but I'm lowering my expectations.

Cats took the lead briefly in the second half but end up losing 81-78. I love The Pit, great memories of seeing MSU play Syracuse there in the '96 NCAA Tournament. Next up, MSU plays EWU West (Portland), Incarnate Word, and SEMO at UIW's Thanksgiving tournament. Should be able to get back in the win column there, Go Cats!

My expectations are never high but I expected better from this team.
Can’t keep losing close games like this, even to superior competition, and expect to do much in the Big Sky this year. There aren’t many NAIA and hack schools, like Yellowstone, that have weak talent in conference play.
