Re: Jed Miller
Little more info on Jed Miller
Miller played at Agoura HS last year as a high school senior. He will be playing for Southern California Academy, a prep school, this year. As a senior he averaged 21 point, 5 rebounds and 5 assists a game. After a 62 point game last year where he went 10-15 from 3 point range, afterward the local paper dubbed him "The Steph Curry of Agoura". I have heard multiple basketball sources, who have speculated that he might be the best shooter in the state of California or even the nation. I am not going make such claims but it does tell you the class of shooter he is. He known smart kid on and off the court (3.9 gpa). He has played against some of the best high school guards on the west coast and has never been embarrassed. The one recruiting knock on him is his foot speed. He does not have that burner gear that is associated with a lot of point guards.

Looks like a good shooter with a quick release.
Get him picks and double picks, he should be open for that quick shot.

Looks like a nice prospect, but that means we will loose a player or two as I am not sure we had any scholarships open. I presume one if not two of the freshman move on. I have a pretty good idea on what two, but will be interesting. I also could see another player move on too. We will see. Love seeing how the cats are recruiting and also the athleticism going forward. GO CATS!

Re: Jed Miller
Danny's history as a shooter has certainly paid dividends. Outside shooting has been one of our biggest woes recently and that seems to have changed.
While registering my vehicles the assessor stated "I have had both Cat and Griz students and alums work for me and the Griz end up working under the direction of the Cats."
