Re: 2022 Recruiting
Mason Nicholson is a 6-10 260lb freshman at North West Florida JC. He played his high school ball in Gary Indiana. He was a late bloomer as he was a 6-2 freshman and was 6-8 as a high school senior. He averaged 10pts 7rbs a game as a senior. His best game was a 30pt 17 rebound effort. He had a handful of D-1 schools showing interest with I think Eastern Michigan offering, but filled their spot with another big guy so he signed with aa JC school. He is a NCAA qualifier so he could sign this year or wait until 2023. He is a low post center. He is not going to drift out for a three point shot.

Re: 2022 Recruiting
FYI
Early signing period starts next Wednesday and goes for a week. Binford should sign at least 2. Sprinkle, last I heard was waiting for the spring period to sign a player or two. If the right player were to come along I could see him signing someone this fall. Currently the Bobcat men have no scholarships to offer, as they currently have 16 player on scholarships (due to covid allowances) with 3 of them being seniors. The Bobcats (as well as all D-1 basketball teams) will need to get back to a maximum of 13 scholarships for next year. If the men sign anybody (this fall or next spring) look for them to be an instant impact player, from high school, international, JC or the transfer portal.
