Well that sucks.

Re: Cat-Griz men's games cancelled
The way I read this is, UM has the COVID issue. They cancelled the press conference earlier today, and the Game in Missoula on Thursday is cancelled but the game in Bozeman isn't. The girls game is on for Saturday in Missoula (enough time to sanitize and make is safe). This is just my thought on reading it.

Yes, so Boys UM team. Girls are still playing here Thursday, so gym will be disinfected and cleaned by the Saturday girls games.RationalGriz wrote: ↑Wed Jan 27, 2021 1:47 pmBoth mens games are cancelled.SACCAT wrote: ↑Wed Jan 27, 2021 1:31 pmThe way I read this is, UM has the COVID issue. Dangit.... I can't find the article but during what should have been Cat-griz week a few months ago, Fritz Neighbor lamented not having the game. He talked about the twitter follow 'DaysSinceUMbeatMSUinFootball' and just the overall position of each school. That MSU has incredible momentum, rising attendance, a dynamo president. He talked about the success of the Lady 'Cats basketball team, in fact he admitted that the one area, really the only one, that UM could claim dominance over their rivals in the last decade was Men's hoops. It was rare honesty coming from the pink side.
I wanted to take that from them....... badly.

Guess I don’t fully understand this protocol for Covid and how it works.
The Cats have had Players who could not play or practice and had to quarantine due to Covid and could certainly not travel. Yet rest of team was able to play. And games went forward. Must be rules that I don’t understand.

How convenient that the um mens team just happens to get a positive covid test just one day before they are supposed to play during one of the best starts MSU has ever had and um has been absolutely atrocious.

Lol, even if you were to sweep us this year we’d still have won 20 of the last 23. This right here is laughable.Prodigal Cat wrote: ↑Wed Jan 27, 2021 2:00 pmDangit.... Re: Cat-Griz men's games cancelled
Must have said Covid instead of the politically approved COVID-19. Am I the only one sick of having socialistic media sites warn me to use the correct terms when referring to “the virus”? Feels like I’ve moved to Russia or somewhere. Hey, at least Bobcat Nation doesn’t yell at me!
MSU has had one or two players out but it all comes down to close contacts. So one player might have exposed his roommates, a trainer may have exposed a number of players. Since it sounds like it happened recently they need to isolate until cleared. They may have been short of players. I was just ready to win two games.

You guys are 3-5 in league play and in 8th place. That’s laughable! You had me convinced when the season started that um would run away with the league title, now that’s laughable!
You guys didn’t want to face a team that’s won 7 in a row and swept the last 3 teams they’ve played
I’ll give you credit, you’re passion for big sky conference basketball is amazing

Coming from the guy that was predicting UM would run away with the title!! That is is pure gold! We could start a thread dedicated solely to predictions that you completely missed!Griz__00 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 27, 2021 8:45 pmLol, even if you were to sweep us this year we’d still have won 20 of the last 23. Re: Cat-Griz men's games cancelled
That was before we lost who was going to be the most important player on the roster. And if you seriously think anything has changed at all other than us being the 5th youngest basketball team in the country, you’re delusional. You guys have gotten better, but nothing has changed for UM other than the experience of this years team.Cataholic wrote: ↑Thu Jan 28, 2021 8:57 amComing from the guy that was predicting UM would run away with the title!! Just play the ****** game, when it safe to do so, in Bozeman of course, and quit making excuses, before you lose!! Your starting to sound like Frick'n Trump!Griz__00 wrote: ↑Thu Jan 28, 2021 9:26 amThat was before we lost who was going to be the most important player on the roster.
