Nice win 79-56. Giving credit where it is due....the Bobcat ladies held the leading scoring team in the conference 17 points under their season average. A lot of forced turnovers. Another player stepped up, Ranson. Good team effort by everyone.

Looking forward to see it again tomorrow.

Women win 79-56. Really nice win. I really feel like this team is just scratching the surface.
Boy isn’t that true...they at times looked like a championship team!

Just looked at NAU stats this morning and this was the lowest point total for the season for NAU (one other team held them to 58). It could have been worse except a few points allowed in “garbage time”. First time this season that EXACTLY ZERO of their top six scorers reached double-digits.

Now if I was NAU I would be embarrassed and peeved about the performance and have a bit of a chip on my shoulder for Saturday. It would be really nice if the Lady Cats could show their maturation and dump them again. We haven’t swept anyone yet this season so it would show real growth.

On another note, Tori Martell quietly moved up to 4th all time in number of 3s made. Pretty fair odds of making it to 3rd all time by end of season. If it hadn’t been for her sophomore year she could have had the best 3 pt shooting percentage (3 of her 4 years she has shot over 40% from 3 range)...all time. She is shooting a bit over 41% this season. And we won’t be able to recognize her, our only senior, on senior night if we don’t get some fans back in the stands! Oh well...need to come up with some other creative way to share the love.

Sprinks has these guys playing great ball early on. Been forever since we were first in the league. Here's hoping they build on the momentum and play their best come tourney time.

Given that nothing else :-^ is going on with Bobcat Athletics at the moment, I'm looking forward to watching round 2 of the Bobcats/NAU basketball series this afternoon! Crazy that the MSU men are on their longest conference win streak since Mick Durham was coach.

I'm looking forward to seeing game two today. Hoping we can limit Shelton under 20. This team is a grinder- love it.

It's going to be interesting to see how we defend him. He was too big and strong for our point guards-especially Bishop. I think we're going to see Mohamed on him a lot more...if he can stay out of foul trouble. Mohamed's length has been a huge defensive asset for the Bobcats.

I think you might be right. I wonder if Mohamed can stay in front of him. Shelton is so quick, but at the same time Abdul is the most fluid mover out on the court. He’s so fun to watch.

WBB Cats up 39-30 At half.

NAU really pushing rapid transition/pace. Rasheed with 13 points...looking a bit like old self.

Cats Good offensive movement so far.

Deden having a great half with 14 points...missed only 1 shot so far? Good mid-range makes, rebounds and buckets underneath.

Beattie with another shot outlawed in the 70s...followed missed shot and produced a layup...the refs didn’t call it because they weren’t sure what it was.

Just keep feeding Deden. She has got it going. Real nice minutes from Van Sickle too.

Not sure what's going on with the men as I don't have the sound on. We were up 7-0, then they came back. No Belo or Kirby for most of the half so I'm guessing they are in foul trouble. NAU knocks Adamu into the wall at the end of the half-no call. I sense we're getting frustrated, but only down 1 at halftime.

love the comment about the follow up by Beattie.
Deden has missed 2shots that I know of one was a 3pt attempt but yeah she is on fire and at both ends of the court.

WBB up 66-46 at Q3.

Great hustle by Beattie....gosh this team is playing well....everyone taking the minutes they get on the court to contribute. May be the best defense I have seen them play.

Men in a back and forth game. 6 min to go. Time to pull away.

Can't make up my mind as to which is better - 55-21 or 48-14.
