Not seeing Madison Jackson or Skye Lindsay. We're often playing with 4 freshmen and a sophomore. Down 2 at the end of the first. Bad Bear has two fouls.

Up 33-28 at the half. Darian White only has 3 points all from free throws. Tori Martell hasn't found the range either. Gabby Mocchi has 8 points in an unbelievable 2nd quarter. No lead is safe with this team, but I'm hoping for White and Martell to get going in the second half.

Wow, Mocchi has come out of hibernation & it just seems that good thing happen whenever Deden is on the floor. I can’t see how Binford will get to her usual 8 – 9 player rotation with all the depth this team has.

Up 10 at the end of the 3rd quarter as UVU hits a three at the buzzer. The bench has really stepped up and gave a spark. Mocchi continues to do everything well, Van Sickle with some good minutes, and Deden. Limardo also had a good third and has 12 points.

Back in the 3rd the announcer mentioned the Lady CATS were probably winded due to the elevation difference between Orem and Bozeman??? Guess the Ladies must have realized they were actually 100 lower in elevation than back in Bozeman..

I laughed at that too.

Bobcats win 66-63. Limardo with 15 and the winning 3. With under a minute to go with the Cats up 3, UVU had the ball and a player driving in for what looks like a wide open layup. Darian White came from out of nowhere to block the shot and get control of the ball. It was an incredible defensive play. This team is going to give Binford some serious heartburn at times. They keep it interesting-always!

Wouldn’t have believed we would win with Tori and Darian combining for only 11 points. They obviously contribute in other ways but the bench really stepped up today.

Mocchi contributed 13 but more than that did a nice job in the middle swapping off with Bad Bear. Career high for Gabby. Off the court she always has a smile. Happy for this young lady!

Deden had 9. Ashley VanSickle and Leia Beattie both looking more comfortable. Ashley looks totally recovered after a year and a half off. Leia showing good hustle on D....good basketball smarts. And as mentioned above Lamardo had great game!

Liked that D forced 23 turnovers and held two best payers nearly 10 under their average.

There was another play with Darian: right at the end there was a ball under the UV basket. It was being knocked out of bounds in the left corner. There was a UV player trying to get control and out of nowhere comes Darian. She actually was the last to touch the ball and gave possession to UV. But how she even got to that point was amazing. Would love to post that short blip but doing that is WAY BEYOND my pay grade/intelligence.

The Ladies really hung in there and when they needed a basket somebody would step up and make a play.

Hard to watch this young team, but they don’t seem experienced enough to get down. They just keep on ballin! Glad to see they won a game that Darian struggled...... Happy for Gabby.....

I don’t know. I thought Lindsay would play since she is from Utah....and I am sure she wanted to if she could.

Also, Maddie Jackson apparently still does not have clearance to play.

This team is interesting. Young, but very skilled. I’m trying hard to get excited about the season,but the cancelled games are making it difficult to believe the season is going to make it to the tournament. They Freshman class is going to be one of the best ever! Smart of Binford to find games when scheduled games get canceled!
