MBB-Yellowstone Christian added to the schedule

Post by BelgradeBobcat » Wed Dec 09, 2020 11:01 am

Good deal. They needed to get another run out. YC was also added to the griz's schedule I believe.

Anyone watching. Saw Griz beat these guys by 60 so hoping we can beat them down as well. We are without Bishop though. Anyone know if he’s hurt or something?

Looks like Adamu is out also.

YC is chucking up a bunch of threes and so far most of them are going in. The game is relatively competitive. Sprinkle is playing all kinds of different combinations. Adamu and Bishop are sitting out for some reason.

Up 55-40 at the half. Pretty ugly, but a game like is gold for the young players and the coaches.

First half it seemed like the Cats wanted to go inside a lot. Seems like more outside shooting so far in the second.

Can't make up my mind as to which is better - 55-21 or 48-14.

Nice little spark there by Caleb Bellach who gets a layup and then unselfishly dishes to Belo for a dunk.

Patterson has made his first 8 three point shots which the announcers are speculating may be some sort of record.

I thought Mike Hood, Kellen Tynes, and Abdul Mohammed got the most out of this one. Hill and Tynes got lots of minutes in the absence of Xavier Bishop. Tyler Patterson did finally miss a three, but then hit another one after that. He's deadly, but he needs to shoot it more!

Everyone got some good minutes with the exception of Fernandez, 4 minutes.
Everyone scored with the exception of Fernandez.
Six in double figures. We shot well from the field and free throws. From three point line shot pretty fair.
A good 114-74 win... Really like our free throw shooting. Did ok being at not total full strength.

YCC shot slightly better today than against the griz, about the same from the field and quite a bit better from three point range. They went to the line 27 times whereas against the griz only 2 times.

Forgot about the game today and missed maybe half of the first half...

Caught a little of the pre-game on the radio. They are both injured, questionable for Washington State. Another player is out a few weeks with an ankle but I can’t remember who it was. Probably anyone who did not play is on the injury list. Fleute hurt his foot or ankle on a fast break when he came down against the basket support. He had to be helped off the court.

Fleute did come back in later-so that's good. That was pretty scary when he went down.

I hope this doesn't come off as too picky, just maybe a bit picky, but listening to the game the announcer needs to back off the mic about 2 inches...just saying. Use the vid 19 rule, distance man helps! :)

It’s a fair comment. He was about eating that mic, save for his mask, and it was hard to listen to.

I guess I am fortunate that I only watched, had the volume off...
