We're pretty unpress-able with Bishop handling the ball. Bodes well when we play a team like Portland State.

Defense is actually backing off, daring UNLV to shoot the threes. They're just finally starting to hit a few. UNLV was I think 2-10 in the first half.

You're probably safe. Lead is back to 21, 4:00 left and starting to foul.

Both teams look a little gassed. Guess that’s a reflection of limited full team practice time....but Cats look to be gutting it out better.

There's a ton of talent on this Bobcat team. I think they're going to be fun to watch.

I like it when the UNLV announcers call the Bobcats "a really good team."

Is UNLV a blueblood? Kinda?
This is a pretty big blowout. We've beaten Mountain West teams quite often, but not like this!

UNLV was 41-7 in home openers. MSU put 91 points on the board. Announcers were saying UNLV was showing something like #77 in country - not exactly a top 20 team, but picked toward the top of the Mountain West. Not a bad opener for an MSU team picked mid-pack in the Big Sky.

Fantastic performance. Sprinkle has them playing really well....really early. It sounded like UNLV had a lot of roster turnover with a new coach, but you know they have serious D1 talent. Great showing by the Cats.

Our freshman looked good....kid from Nova Scotia and the kid from Washington both contributed. I don't remember seeing Devon Kirby...also didn't hear an explanation.

Wow! Impressive win for those Bobcats. They dominated UNLV. The future is bright. Hats off to Danny Sprinkle, his staff and the team!

Xavier Bishop was a nightmare for UNLV to matchup with, he’s everything a team needs in a point guard

Cats fundamentally looked like they had already played 10 games compared to UNLV

I had a migraine all night, but I managed to watch a bit of the first half. I haven’t seen a Bobcat team like that in a while, impressive. Early in the season though, but fingers crossed.

Cats Mbb will be having a fun plane ride back after a great season opening road win against a MW opponent. What a great night to welcome college hoops back!!!
