Why do you guys care? Nobody else in this conference except maybe EWU has ANY shot of hanging with UM next year. As loaded as they have been in 30 or more years. Good luck beating the Griz anytime in the next 3 or 4 years.

Tough non-conference schedule again. Looks like a LOT of road games, it'll be interesting to see how many of them actually get played.

Oh thank you griz_00. We are so sorry we thought us or any other team has the gall to feel we are worthy of being on the same court as the only real basketball program in the conference. Please accept our apologies...
We expect you to go ??-0 this season then...

I admit, the Griz have a good lineup on paper, but they still suck! =; =;

Lucky you don’t have Montana Tech on your schedule this year! Maybe you can schedule a scrimmage with Hellgate to make you don’t drop a non-conference game.

Oh wait, I’m sorry please remind me who won 19 of the last 20? 🤔... It’ll be fun making that 21 of 22 next year.

Explain yourself when you say loaded for the next 3 or 4 years. What happened this year, you were leading the league, then what?

Personally, I can name one of your starters for next year, Tommy Falls who’s been in the program 6 years

Like you guys are going to dominate the big sky for years to come, c’mon the big sky teams beat each other up during league play and the preseason favorite never wins the league. Then gets the fifteen seed in the dance, one and done :coffee:

And that is where you have not been paying attention. The Griz team next year has more talent than the 06 team that was a 12 seed and was a good half of basketball from the sweet 16. Two of their best players on the roster last year sat out as transfers. One averaged 13 pts and 8 rebs in the mountain west. The other will likely be all BSC for 3 years. Plus, grad transfer Satterwhite from NAU who was a key player for them, averaged 8 PPG but made his mark more as a peremiter defender and an athlete. Plus, throw in likely the best passer the Griz will likely ever have. And no, obviously not Timmy Falls. Timmy Falls likely won’t even start next year. Cameron Parker, who averaged 10pts and 8 asts last season as a sophomore. Not just averaged 8 assists, but he broke the all time division one record for assists in a game last season with 24. He had 24 and 16 assists in separate games as a sophomore. That means that he had the highest and 2nd highest assist totals for a single game of any player in NCAA D1 last season, although he is tied at the 2nd with an Auburn player. This dude could average 10 assists per game as a senior. Not to mention, 3 of our key players last year were freshman, we have the returning BSC freshman of the year, and one of the best recruiting classes in a long time coming in on top of all of that. Talk about LOADED.

This Parker dude sounds like quite the assist machine but just for clarification does your basketball team tally up assists like your football team does with tackles? I mean if he happens to pass the ball 2 or 3 times during a possession and subsequent score does he get credit for 2 or 3 assists on that? You have to admit that is a fair question.

That wouldn’t even be possible considering he was playing basketball on the other side of the country for Sacred Heart. Had a LOT of high major interest and still came here. Tells you a lot about what TDC is building as that story is starting to become pretty common for dudes he gets.

You forgot a couple of important points. Cameron Parker’s 24 assist game came in a 50+ point win against a poor NAIA team. Too bad you didn’t have Parker last year for the game against Tech! Parker also averaged over 4 turnovers per game. If you take his assists per game minus his turnovers per game, he is right around 3 per game! Those 3 assists could have given you a win against Tech.

Seriously though, very few people talk about the number of Griz players that have left early, the loss of hometown early commit Rollie Worster, and taking away the scholarship of Timmy Falls for his upcoming senior year. The Griz have some good players coming in, but these would be signs of concern at most programs.

I love what Sprinkle is doing in Bozeman. He will need some time to build a regular contender, but I have been really pleased with his first 15 months on the job.
