Danny certainly has the accomplishments to be coach of the year but the middle of the pack finish likely won't let that happen. Great job of getting the most out of the talent we had. The team he formed with his fellow coaches was really impressive and resulted in tremendous improvement in the performance of individual team members.
Chris Haslam has done tremendous work with the bigs that has made them into one of the best two groups of bigs in the conference. Everyone of them has shown real growth this year. All know their roles and have developed depth to their games. Kudos to Chris.
Now for the most important coaching award. Best Dressed. Shawn Dirden wins this one hands down. He even gives Jay Wright a run for his money.
