Playing terrible defense. Down by 10 at halftime
EWU in a zone. Rushing shots, panicking.

Time called shortly into 2nd half and game is suspended for some reason....or Pluto lost the feed...

Radio is down, too. LiveStats is not updating. No PlutoTV. No tweets either so very unsure what is going on.

Game is delayed. The last thing that happened that I saw was there was a fire alarm (that's what the announcers said it sounded like) they then announced they were going to break and find out what was going on.

Just as I submit that last comment the game is back on.

Tied twice in 2nd half...then EWU hits 3 3's to go up 9 end of 3rd.

EWU 12 of 16 from 3!

As always..... our 3 pt defense is horrible. Same play over and over and we can’t figure it out. Sad!

Absolutely correct. Weave at top of key leaves a wide open shooter.

Please! Could someone google how to get your players to defend against a 3pt shot and get the instructions to Binford as soon as possible? This is bad!

Give the other team, and the law of averages, credit.

Holy smokes! Most teams lose when the other team does that. Most = almost everyone. That’s like winning a football game despite -5 turnovers.

I tried watching on my phone during the men's game. Fortunately, most of overtime was during half time. It seemed every time I looked down on my phone EWU was making a three or we were missing a layup or free throw...yet somehow it was still close. Finally, I think Martell hit a three and we did make a couple of layups and somehow won. It looked like EWU was playing the game of their life. I'll bet those shots don't fall when we play them in Bozeman and we win easily.

Thank goodness for our FT advantage. A game we should not have pulled out BUT we did. Better not perform like that again.
Way to pull off a big allbeit ugly win Ladies... WHEW.

The stat line in this one is just crazy. EWU shoots 46% to our 40%. They hit 17 threes and were 56% from there whereas we hit 10 and were 38%. We were a pedestrian 72% from the line, but we made 22 free throws to their 6! And we got 21 offensive rebounds and outrebounded them 51-30! So they jacked up a lot of threes and more than normal went in. We were obviously a little off from the field but got a lot of extra possessions from rebounds. We also got 22 points off of turnovers to their 12.
Darian White will likely be freshman of the year, but she's making a case for being all-conference. She led us with 23 points and was a perfect 6-6 from the line. Martel got us 17 points in the 34 minutes.
Oh by the way, one of our 1000 point scorers and very best players was in street clothes on the bench. No boot though. If Squires gets healthy soon we should be alright.

Squires return will definitely help, but Martel and Jackson are filling in nicely. Madison had 15 points today, all 3 pointers if I remember correctly.

Good point. Madison Jackson and Darian White returning to Boise for the Big Sky tournament could really be something special. Both true freshmen are just outstanding.

Anytime you win on the road, it is a good win. Never gave up and I really think EWU shot over their heads. WAY over the top. Granted, our D has to improve, but still....

Way to go Lady Cats. When the win was announced at the men's game, it was during a EWU run and our team and the crowd was down.
I was hoping the announcement, accompanied by a rousing cheer from the big crowd, would lift our guys and get us back in the game.
Didn't happen.

Congrats to the Cats for not giving up.....would have been easy to throw in the towel when the other team is hitting threes like that.....great effort and way to stick it out.
