Win by 11 and missed, what was it, 13 FTs. Other than that stat was a pretty good showing... Tired sounds close.
Pretty sparse crowd but it is PSU.

Defense won this game! Yes the offense was rolling, but we out rebounded Portland State and Fallyn and Blaire had a nine rebound night. Proud of how we rebounded, but we still have some things to clean up. Looks like Martell is getting her stroke back!

Our defense absolutely stifled them in the first quarter. In the second we started to heat up on offense and set the table for a blowout. Other than tired legs I think we would have continued that way, and put it away sooner. We made them look like a pedestrian team, not a high-scoring excellent three-point shooting team. Our overall speed and quickness was evident. Kudos to Martha the assassin, and Darian the future all-star. Their announcer said that the Bobcats run players in and out of the game and never lose a beat. Put the Idaho game out of our minds and keep winning. That depth will keep us alive until Oliana returns. It is a good sign that she was allowed to make the trip. Great win over a team that has been kryptonite to us.

We have 7 days until next game at Eastern Washington. Sounds like Oliana had a boot on per folks that watched. Anyone have prognosis or hear on how long she will be out....certainly the week off is timely to help her!

Next 2 games are against bottom teams in the BSC. Lady Cats are deep and should win even if Oli doesn't play. However, the potential of this team is a lot higher with a healthy Oli. I have no info on her injury.

White and Kuderer were both back on their games. Very good win. I will attribute the 10 for 23 free throws to tired legs.
