Huh? With all the talent that Sprinkle seems to be bringing in here in the near future, don't see this at all. At 5-8 and a buck 65?

Next years PG, Xavier Bishop, is 5'8" and 150.

It doesn’t cost anything. He is a walk on so no scholarship. Let him try on his own dime and see if he can prove himself. It also puts another talented football player on campus if hoops doesn’t work out. I understand that the Griz really liked his work as a scout team player. He was expected to be a future contributor to their football team.

Very surprised by this not sure if they really had a good idea of his basketball talent. Shot 20% from three on over 120 shots last year. Lots of more talented guards in AA basketball with better upside even in the 2020 class.

Agree...Rumor has it that his HS coach at West has ties to Sprinkle so all this resulted in doing him a solid. Time will tell...

What specific ties? Sprinkle went to HH and Darragh went to CMR, but he also played at Carroll.

Genuinely just curious what connection they have other than the city of Helena.

Think he was offensive scout team player of year for Griz FB this year. Coaches were very high on him.

I watched him play a little bit of hoops his entire 4 years at West. I agree with others....don't see D1 basketball talent or physical size.

My guess is he's an MSU FB receiver in 2021.

Basketball insiders. Does Jesse stay, drop down, or move across the street?

This must be some kind of way to transfer without any NCAA problem with transfers between two conference foes.
