Perhaps we just have lots of injuries. Apparently Frey is hurt, they say Ladan will be injured all year, and obviously Kirby has problems. 3 best players all hurt? Still ugly game.

Looks like the scouting report is cover Ricketts and Double Frey. Adamo can score if his man is smaller and slower. Belo needs Frey to get away from the double team otherwise he doesn't get the ball in the right place. We are stuck with at least 2 players on the floor who cannot throw it in the ocean allowing a double on Frey.

It’s adorable you’re pretending to be a basketball fan all of a sudden. Haven’t heard much from you since November 23rd. Weird.

Wow, people still find this useless Griz troll still worthy of any attention?

Tough road trip but I'm sure Sprinkle will have them ready to go next week. If only MSU just had a little more scoring ability to go along with the defense...

Quinlan offers nothing offensively. Nothing. Missing DK immensely at this point.
To be fair DK doesn't offer much offense either. Better defender though.
True. Maybe better at finishing when he catches the ball deep in the paint though, Quinlan had maybe 3 or 4 real similar chances in there blocked today. I can't figure out where he fits, exactly. He's not a shooter, not a great finisher off the drive, and doesn't finish well from the post. Maybe i just answered my own question. I'm not blaming him for the loss, don't get me wrong. We're just a player short on offense most of the time, and it's showing in our long scoring droughts.

The whole team has not shown the same movement that we did earlier in the season. We seem to stand and watch Harry dribble. Need more movement and passing.

I think that may be more a result of conference teams scouting us pretty thoroughly. I think Danny had said early when he was hired...."well, I'm not sure where the scoring is going to come from".

Now I know what he was talking about.

Wow. I decided today, since the game times totally eclipsed each other, to watch the MSU women’s game live and record the men’s game for my evening enjoyment. I just finished the first half, and that was a pretty bad exhibition of basketball — by both teams and the officials. With about 7 minutes to go in the half the score was tied at 8-8 and the announcers said the teams had combined for 7 of 39 (18%) field goal shooting. (Hard to believe so I looked up the shooting chart. Correct.) It was a rebounder’s paradise. Seemed like there were more players knocked down than shots knocked down. The few shooters were double-teamed and no one else seemed to be a shooter. Under 6 minutes and particularly under 2 minutes the lid really came off the basket, allowing the ‘Cats to take a 21-17 halftime lead.

Very rough play. Harry took an elbow to the top of the head after a rebound that maybe should have been reviewed. The offending player showed no remorse, that’s for sure.

I really hope this game was a case of the ‘Cats playing down to the level of their opponent, and being lulled to sleep by another empty arena.

Cats are going to need to figure out how to pick up some wins on the road. Right now, this team is 5-1 at home....1-6 on the road (2-0 on nuetral sites)..I don't get how the shooting can be so poor on the road vs at home. I do think Coach Sprinkle has this team on the right track. Need to figure out a few things, though.

This, x1000. We're severely handicapped in the half court right now. As domako said earlier, DK isn't a great offensive player either. He's at least capable if rebounding and sticking back some of these bricks we're laying though. We'll be a better team once he's healthy, at both ends, IMO.

Southern UT is a pretty good team. They will finish in the upper half of the BSC.

Where do you think Montana Tech would finish in the BSC?

One thing is for sure, if they tied with UM in the standings, Tech would win the tie breaker with their “head to head” results.

SUU beat Nebraska on the road this year. Not the greatest Big 10 team but not that often a BSC team does that. SUU was picked 4th or 5th in preseason BSC poll this year. I was attempting to point that out but guess it came across wrong.

Tech would likely finish dead last in the BSC. Maybe the Cat men may have a fighting chance to get their second win since 2009 against UM this year.

ESG GCG!! 48 - 14!!
