MSU will shoot for three straight conference wins to start the league fray in Greeley at 7.

This road trip will be a good test for us. MSU, Montana, and Idaho State are the only teams without a conference loss, yet their combined road record is only 2 - 15 ...

..edit.. I take it our wins at that preseason tourney were considered a neutral court, although they shouldn't have been in my opinion. That would give us a couple more road wins, so maybe we all had 4 or 5 wins and 15 losses. That doesnt change my observation, this league seems quite wide open so the road games will be tough. Hopefully our defensive efforts will reap rewards tonight!

well, 7:30 left in the half and things are starting to heat up for UNC. up 24 to 14. Our offense is struggling nearly all our shots are being taken by people we wouldn't want to take the shot, hopefully we find a groove.

Every time I tune in to watch we look horrible and the other team goes on a run. Anybody else have this bad fortune?

we had nearly a 7 minute scoring drought and as the half draws to a close, Fluete hits a three to bring us with 7. Harry has not even shot the ball, for sure has not made a goal. UNC calls timeout with 15 seconds left for the last possession of the half.

We have a couple players shooting 3's that should not be. They are practically turnovers.

Dang, we held good defense, yet they get a 3 to fall in. down 36 to 26 at the half. Belo only has like 3 pts, all free-throws. I think he only has a couple shot attempts. Their defense is forcing our bad shot selection, or we are in a funk, or...???

I agree. we seemed to make a little push by throwing it down low to Belo, but then he was benched and it went back to them having solid perimeter defense against us, leaving the worst 3 pt shooters open. Fluete has only a couple made 3s, we were lucky his went in. hopefully we can answer their rock solid defense. If we can score, we can catch up,they don't seem to be playing exceptionally on offense.

I find that if you are wide open from 3 pt range all the time, they want you to take that shot. They scout you too!

We have cut it to 6 pts about 8 times and came away with nothing. Good timeout by Danny, pivotal possession.

We call timeout trailing by 6 with just over 5 minutes to go. Nows the time to make a move.! Amin has a season high of 20 or 21 pts, mostly just from driving in and making little jumpers.

Radabaugh 1, Frey 0 He locked down on Harry all game and scored 14. I think Frey must be hurt, just not shooting much and when he does it looks a little forced. I back up my theory with all the tape on his shoulder..

MSU gonna drop this one. Down 8 with 1 minute to go.

Frustrating, but not that surprising. They're pretty decent and Radebaugh has been a problem for Harald for 2 seasons now. Win Saturday, get the split, keeps us right in the mix.

UNC was fresh. We need Kirby back. Probably pre-ordained to be a loss.

One of those wins was a true road win over the host team — UNC Greensville if I remember correctly. The one where Harald Frey ended the fray with his backcourt shot.

Seemed to be totally one of those bring your own energy games like most things are at Northern Colorado. It must be difficult to go from the decently noisy Brick to a gym where the dribbles echoed and many of the 53 and 1/2 fans looked sleepy.

Why would anyone good enough to sign with a D-I school ever go to Northern Colorado? Don’t most players want to perform for a crowd, or is streaming TV good enough? I would guess they never host a recruit at a home game.

Ricketts didn't take a single shot. Weird, since he's the team's pure shooter.
