I felt this game deserved it's own thread since UNCG is a higher ranked opponent. Ken Pom, RPI, Sangarin,etc, has them around 80 or 90, while we are ranked more like 200 to 250. So, this will be a harder game than Appalachian State St it appears.
Here's a few highlights from their game against Kansas. From that, I would say we will have our hands full. Quick guard that can shoot from deep and drive inside, also saw a couple other players than drive in well. Our defense will be tested. https://watchstadium.com/videos/unc-gre ... s-2019-20/

This game is on ESPN3, but I will probably be listening if I can. Go Cats!

Down 33-29 at the half. UNC-Greensboro is not a sexy sounding opponent, but they will be one of the better teams we play this season.

We are hanging tough. Is it just me, or is it strange that Harry has been called for traveling a lot the past two games?

Very aggressive defense by UNCG with a full court press off of made buckets and pressuring the ball. Not shooting the ball great but good effort and defense.

Darn, really nice win. Beat a team that we probably were not supposed to beat... According to the "rankings"!

Lucky way to win, but you can't get lucky there without putting yourself in position against a good team on their floor. Great, great start for our team.

This team has such a different feel to it from last year- still don’t know how good we are but the Cats are playing well together and Frey is a stud...

Harry's buzzer beater not only made Sportscenter's top 10 plays, it was number 1. It was actually well beyond half court...a good 10 feet beyond it looked like.

Harry is an amazing player....maybe the best ever at MSU.

Never like the yelling and screaming by Fish. However, he did leave the program in much better shape than when he came in. His last recruiting class is proving to be very strong. Love the way Danny is molding this team and the atmosphere he is creating. This is going to be a fun year.
