I'm hoping that's just a typo, and that he's actual 6-7 and 205, rather than 105....LOL.
105 Kilo's = 231 lbs, so that would be about right.

Speaking of physical stats he has a 7'-4" wing span and they do not feel he has stopped growing yet

I recall seeing this website before, but I think it is updated for this year. It lists the top player in each state. Amazingly, the Cats have signed the top player listed from three of these states: Montana, Alaska and Wyoming. The top Colorado player also had Montana State listed as a possible college. I noticed that the top Idaho player does not have a college offer??

Below is tweet by 4 star recruit Dallan Coleman a 6-6 shooting guard out of Callahan Florida. He is ranked in the between the 40-70th best overall recruit and between the 7th and 20th best shooting guard in the country. He has just made his short list of his final school he is considering signing list. Do you see the jersey on the right hand side of his final 4. Look familiar!? Now look at the schools that made his final four! Better yet look at the schools that got cut! At one point this gentleman had over 30 offers before his last cut. Did a little research on him, scuttlebutt was that before his last cut he was rumored the #1 priority recruit this year for Memphis, Louisville, Ole Miss, Georgia Tech and Ohio State.

No matter how this works out, that is ****** recruiting by Sprinkle and his coaches!!!

Coleman announced Tuesday that this coming Friday he intends to have his list narrowed down to 3. Realistically the odds are not in MSI's favor but fingers are crossed!
His Top 3 are Georgia Tech, Texas Tech, and Ole Miss. Still awesome that MSU was included in the initial top 10!
Dallan Coleman signed with Georgia Tech.

Interesting signing, looks like he graduated high school Spring 2020 but decided to take a year and attend a basketball academy in the Netherlands before signing with a college. Presumably a bit of a "project"-type player, but seems very committed to improving his skills!

So...Did Dewey Michaels pass through Corvallis about 18-19 years ago?

We'll have the tallest women's player and the tallest men's player in the Big Sky Conference!

Did a little digging and this kid was a decent player at Corvallis High in Oregon. He was first team all conference and put up good numbers with 16 pts, 13 rbs, and 5 blocks per game.

Also noticed that he played on an AAU type team where Kane Ioane’s brother was the head coach.

This looks to be an exciting signing. I am guessing he needs some development but I am sure Sprinkle had some solid intel to work with! And at 7’3”, he should affect a lot of shots at the rim.

Just curious...would he be the tallest player ever to wear a Bobcat jersey?

I am guessing he is the tallest. It is extremely rare. Here is a cool article on how many 7 foot 3 guys played college ball since 1985 and how many of them made the NBA.

Well you can’t teach size so I guess that part is good. Saw he only had D2 and JUCO offers coming out of HS. That’s a bit concerning because at 7 foot 3 you would think the offers would be much better. I’m guessing they see some upside and are willing to try and develop.

I'm not the biggest basketball fan and I follow it only sporadically. I'm guessing he'll be our tallest player ever. Have we ever had someone taller than 6' 9"? Quadre Lollis is about the biggest guy I can remember being on the team.

I believe Jack Gillespie from Great Falls was listed at 6'10" He's still the all-time leading rebounder at MSU. A record that will probably never be broken based on the current style of play i.e. 3 point shooting, outside type play, etc.

Seems to me just the fact there is a 7' 3" guy in the paint would be a bit intimidating. Sure he would need some skills but the fact he was offered/accepted shows me Coach sees some plusses...
