This move will make players like Harald Frey even more valuable in the year to come. Frey has the range on his 3 point shot beyond the new mark plus he has played in hundreds of games at the new distance. I think a lot of those so called stretch forward are gong to find they are no longer the threat from 3 point range they once were. This is also going to be another big adjustment for incoming freshman that they are going to have to deal with. Our two incoming freshman wings, I think this makes Hobbs even more valuable as he has the range to shoot from the new distance, but Ballach may need to expand his range a little to be a consistent 3 point threat. That said a lot of freshman are going to find themselves a little short of consistent three point range this fall,

So is the women's 3 point line staying the same? I don't like multiple 3 point lines on the court-it can be confusing for players and refs. Definitely fooled some players in the Big Sky tournament with the college and NBA three point lines on the floor.
