Bored, and was digging through some old stats and saw a lot of names I had forgotten from the Durham years.

Who lead the Bobcats in scoring in 2004/2005 and 2005/2006?

hmmmm… without looking it up.

maybe Jason Erickson? I forget when carlos taylor played, but had to be kinda close to that 2006 season? (or I could be way off)… both those guys were really good though.

Erickson was such a stud, I thought we underutilized him personally.

Did marvin moss lead in 04/05? Erickson was earlier, Carlos Taylor was later I think right? 05 06, dissly or
beye (RIP)?

Couple of individuals on that team that MSU would like to forget, but never will.

You’re pretty close. Beye was right behind him one year.

Clue: he hit a game winning 3 pointer at the buzzer to beat the Griz in Missoula.

The kid from Oklahoma (nice kid) that played with the other kid who was involved in the drug problems and murder.

Aha! Looked it up....I was right...Ja'Ron Jefferson!. 6'0" guard that carried the team those two years. I ran into him before a game and told him how we appreciated his play. He was very appreciative to someone cornering him before a game.

Correct!

Unfortunately the moral of the story is you can be a really good player on a bad team, and you are less likely to be remembered than if you are a really good player on a good team. I fear Tyler Hall's legacy will suffer from this.

That was back in the day when a lot of us were wondering if Mick Durham was opposed to recruiting anyone taller than him.

Bynum:
That was absolutely on top 10 plays, may have even been #1 IIRC. Mercy, that was a violent dunk.
