I have heard a rumor that that Binford and her coaches have signed 5-6 point guard Michelle Seitz of Walla Walla Community College to a letter of intent this spring. Seitz averaged 16 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals a game while shooting 41% from the field, 36% from three point range. She is originally from Nezperce Idaho. She led Wall Wall to a 23-3 record last year and had a handful of D-1 offers.

It's true. Just talked to Binford about her. Sounds like a shooter with nice pull-up J and three-point threat, just what the MSU women need. She dropped 44 points on Yakima Valley CC last year!

I covered the NWAACC a little bit in Ellensburg. It's a good league of JCs. Seitz should contribute right away.

The one stat that stuck out to me was 9 rebounds a game for a 5'-6" guard! When I saw that I had to go and recheck her stats at the conference website and 9 rebounds it is. She was #2 in rebounding on the team as a freshman so it is no fluke. I am told she is also a fearless player who knows how to scrap to get the ball. An intriguing player for the Bobcats.

Sounds like she went the JC route because she liked the Walla Walla coach and also had an ACL injury her sophomore year in high school that set her back a bit. Binford said she should contribute right away and is aggressive in all aspects.

Binford also said she's a gym rat, a player who can set an example to help the Bobcats re-find their love of the game.

Sounds like a good pick up.

It looks like this player likes uniform #10, at least that seems to be her number in the picture in Colter's article. What a coincidence - a pull up jump shooter, a player who can jump and rebound, a very good three point shooter, and a gym rat. Sounds like a great candidate to take over #10 for the Bobcats and fill the shoes of Katie Bussey.

Actually I think they should retire #10 Jersey
