Tix/Hotel to game this weekend.
2 Tix to both womens and mens games and a night at Marriott Residence Inn. $100.
Griz are without Ward and Cherry. Could be the game Cats turn things around. PM me if you are interested.

So, are you saying that the men could turn this season from a train wreck, to a Hindenburg disaster? Or is the other way around?BornInMontana wrote:2 Tix to both womens and mens games and a night at Marriott Residence Inn. $100.

Momentum is a funny thing. Cats were a call or a lucky shot or whatever away from winning in Missoula. Who knows if they had won that game how their confidence might have been different. They could have easily beat a pretty good Griz team. I was at that game - Cats have a couple of players that could get them on a run. With Cherry and Ward out, that makes the Cats remaining schedule reasonable. All 4 games are winnable.

I've got to appreciate your optimism, but I'd be ecstatic/stunned if we win even 1 of the 4 remaining games.BornInMontana wrote:Momentum is a funny thing. I appreciate it but I don't think you should have to spend your hard earned 100 just to get me to watch cat bballBornInMontana wrote:2 Tix to both womens and mens games and a night at Marriott Residence Inn. $100.

if you're keeping score, France gave us Burgundy wine, cigarettes, berets, B.O., brie and the Napoleon complex-Bill Simmons

Wrong attitude guys. Griz were out coached and outplayed in the first game despite being outmanned. This next game the Cats will not be outmanned because Cherry and Ward (2 of the 3 best Griz players) will not be playing. If Huse can coach like he did last time, the Cats will probably win. As for the Lady Cats, that is a good team and more confusing to me why they are not winning more. I am a Griz fan, but I would not be surprised by a Cat sweep this weekend. As always: Go Montana Kids.

man i'd love if you were right. and i hate topics like this because i hate to bash the cats for the sake of being reasonable. i agree huse likely coached his best game in missoula. i said as much the next day. however, that game was a LONG time ago. since then we have lost six games, including five straight. during this 5 game losing streak we have been getting beat by 15 points a game including a 36 point beat down by idaho state who is dead last in the conference. the five teams who beat us during this typical february slide are a combined 54-76 and that includes a very good weber team who is 20-5! take them away and the other 4 teams who beat us are 35-71!BornInMontana wrote:Wrong attitude guys. there is no way i will buy into the idea that we were simply outmanned by all these teams that are beating us. we're just not very good. and we're poorly coached. i'm not trying to come across as a dick here. i'm just honestly shocked that someone could look at our body of work over the last month and suggest we will "probably win" against the griz.
i'll concede the cats could win this game. after all it is cat griz and playing at home certainly can't hurt. even if we don't have a homecourt atvantage...it's better than trying to win in missoula. so if the cats sneak one out against a decimated um lineup i guess i won't have a heart attack. but my guess is we'll probably lose to said decimated team and it will show us just how bad this team has become.
i'm pulling for them though and i'll be giddy if you are correct. anything positive from this program right now is GREAT by me!

The guy is stuck with the tickets and has paid for the room. He is trying to put the best spin on it to sell his dog.ilovethecats wrote:man i'd love if you were right. and i hate topics like this because i hate to bash the cats for the sake of being reasonable. i agree huse likely coached his best game in missoula. i said as much the next day. however, that game was a LONG time ago. since then we have lost six games, including five straight. during this 5 game losing streak we have been getting beat by 15 points a game including a 36 point beat down by idaho state who is dead last in the conference. the five teams who beat us during this typical february slide are a combined 54-76 and that includes a very good weber team who is 20-5! take them away and the other 4 teams who beat us are 35-71!BornInMontana wrote:Wrong attitude guys. Re: Tix/Hotel to game this weekend.
I purchased at auction for $65 which included $30 gift certificate, 2 tix to both games and Hotel room. So I am not out much. If I dont sell, I will go to the game. If I sell, I go ski at Big Mountain. Good choice either way. I will negotiate.
Interesting, Griz fans are concerned about the game because of Ward and Cherry not being in the game. Cats are convinced a HS team could beat them right now. Personally I am very concerned. The first game was really close because Cherry was in foul trouble most of the game and really played his worst game of the year after the injury. Now they have to play an entire game without him and Ward. If Cat fans are going to attend a game, this is the one to attend regardless of my motivation in selling tickets.

I hear what you're saying, but it's going to be the smallest Cat-griz crowd ever since the Fieldhouse opened I'm guessing.BornInMontana wrote:If Cat fans are going to attend a game, this is the one to attend regardless of my motivation in selling tickets.

If that is the case, then Cat fans should try to not let this happen. The team is struggling, but the most constructive thing to do is go to the game and support both Bobcat Basketball programs. These kids are still wearing blue and gold and still wear "Montana State" on their jerseys. I will be there with a bunch of my friends supporting them and cheering for a Bobcat vistory over the griz.
