No one will shoot except the seniors and Durham! UNC playing zone...bobcats don't have a clue! Semansky get triple teamed everytime she gets the ball....and they keep feeding her!

11 point win for UNC....they are like 50% from the free throw line...and still pulled away!

Montana State lost for a fifth straight time, falling to 8-6 in league, 14-9 overall. UNC moved to 10-3 in league, a half-game behind the Lady Griz, who won handily over North Dakota on Saturday. UND beat MSU on Thursday.

The Cats shot 30 percent from the floor. During the 5-game skid, MSU is shooting 34 percent from the field, 27 percent from 3.

Kalli Durham and Ashley Brumwell were both brought off the bench this afternoon — Brumwell didn't start Thursday at North Dakota either — after staring the first 12 conference games (Brumwell) and the previous 10 (Durham).

Rachel Semansky had 15 and 10 against UNC, but the Cats committed 27 team fouls, allowing the Bears to shoot 44 free throws. UNC only hit 56 percent of them, but having a 25-11 points at the charity stripe advantage is tough to overcome.

UNC shoots 44 free throws to our, what, 13? I've been down on the Lady Cats of late, but that seems like a stacked deck that is difficult to overcome, especially against a hot team in first place.

....but it looks to me like except for Rachel they don't challenge the rim....Rachel is the inside game and Alexa when she's in. Nobody else takes it to the bucket. Even Tish pulls up from 10 feet rather tan taking it to the rim...she makes the shot fairly often but it puts no pressure on the defense.. I think they don't want to go into the teeth of the meat grinder zones that teams are playing them with.
