Does anybody know the status of Antonio Biglow? This is what Gidal Kaiser reported on January 10th:
"According to Brad Huse, Jamie Stewart "is not currently a part of the team." He would not elaborate. I asked if Antonio Biglow was going to be here at the start of the semester (Wednesday) and I was told "I can't tell you yes or no." ... Since this morning's presser, I saw Stewart walk into the weight room in street clothes to say hi to a couple people, then leave with a pile of books. He obviously did not practice. I have been told that Biglow will be here on the 10th & he and Huse will sit down and discuss future plans"

Currently, he is not on campus. He recently told me he's going to be here soon, maybe by the end of this week.

Not this year. Not sure about next.

Thanks for the info. With the Bobcats apparently on the rise, and the emergence of backup point guard Michael Dison, Antonio Biglow has become the forgotten man, even though he was the 2011 Southern California Junior College player of the year. Here is a link to Gidal's story from 9/20/2011:

Hopefully we will see him turn up, he would be a nice player in the Big Sky. Thanks Gidal for all the updates and let us know if you hear anything further.

Biglow DM'd me on Twitter today. At 1 p.m., he found out he was coming to Montana. He'll be on campus Wednesday morning. Where this goes, i have no idea. I don't know if he's officially part of the program at this point, if he's a student at MSU ... Investigation begins tomorrow morning.

Sounds like he was
at the game last night in street clothes. Won't play this year but can practice, with the idea of starting fresh next year. Definitely a great development for MSU if it stays that way and he can join the team as a junior next year.

Point guards in this conference usually are. As long as he's good, I'll like him.

I thought he was a 2 guard? I was hoping he'd be about Lillard's size! I remember seeing his You Tube video and he looked bigger.

I've seen him described as a "combo guard". Given his height and Singleton's graduation, and the fact that I think the best use of a combo guard is on the point, I assumed he'd play 1 while they bring Dison along.

After tonight I hope to see him next week! Singleton sucks as a point guard. He doesn't look to distribute the ball at all. I'd like to see a starting lineup of Fall, Alou, Johnson, Blount, and Moon. moon could do just as good a job of bringing the ball up the floor as Singleton and he wouldn't turn it over when the clock runs down to 6 seconds...he might get a shot off instead!

I like the sound of Blount and Moon as the starting guards, but I'd go with a Johnson-Allou-Reid frontcourt. Or maybe Fall-Johnson-Reid, or Budnich-Johnson-Reid. Anyway, Reid deserves to start.

Reid does well coming off the bench...he might not respond as well starting...but who knows

Well if he's gonna come off the bench, Huse better make sure to get him on the floor more. He was outplaying Blount handily on Saturday and Huse kept Blount out there anyway. Reid is at least as good as Moon and Blount, and he's worth the time to develop since he's a four-year player. His playing time should reflect that.

Reid's 3-10 shooting wasn't exactly lighting up the gym. That said blunt and moon certainly didn't do any better.

His shooting from the field wasn't as good as usual, but he drew some fouls, and he's better defensively than Blount and Moon.
