56-46 WSU with 4:38 to play according to ESPN. And does it bother anybody else that our top 3 scorers right now came off the bench? Most points by a starter right now is 5

Couldn't even muster 50 points. Sometimes it hurts to listen.

exactly. defensively they played well i thought. lilliard is a hell of a player and had he wanted to...i think he could have scored more. but you can't take everything away from our d. they made him work and he had few open looks. but as i mentioned last week....we HAVE to be able to score. we were hanging around and hanging around in the second half.....until we went about 6 possessions without a point. you can get away with that agianst isu....not a good team like weber.
we simply lack guys who can score the ball. we have great athletes. our guys seem to be playing better together which is obviously good. but we don't have a shooter. look at weber. they allowed us to stay in the game when they were missing shots. then in the 2nd half they had 3-4 guys that were hitting from everywhere. when they had an open look, they made us pay. we don't have that guy. we try to score down low, and if that fails it's basically 50-50 if we need points from deep.
pretty easy game to analyze. good defense. terrible offense. another loss.

When this team is bad on offense...they are horrible.
Weber is good, but too perimeter oriented-that might bite them later on. They got most of the calls yet their announcers still whined-turned the sound off on Big Sky TV to make it bearable.
There's just not enough scoring inside with this team. If the jumpers ain't falling it'll be a blowout everytime.

I thought that the Cats played fairly well. Better than last year. I could at least see that we had players that could get to the basket. I know the shots need to be made for us to win, but at least we have an athletic team that can stay with the top teams in the conference. Last year there was no way we were going to win anything.
Good step for the men's program since almost all the players except Singleton will be back next year (Dison is turning into a good point guard).
