The gazette does have a write up on the Cat/Griz page, but I too was disappointed there was nothing on their sports page.

Only a writeup on the blog is unacceptable. They had ample time to put one up on the sports section that's not tucked away in the men's basketball scoreboard.

Is there anything in the grizette-er gazette's print edition?
Why is the Billings media this way with MSU athletics? Both print and TV. Do any of them own a map?

There was an article online if you go to their sports page. No picture, but I don't know if Weber put anything out on AP.

The Trib's print edition had a nice piece about the Cats semi-final win, which was the lead story for the sports section, and so I probably shouldn't complain, but it was filled with inaccurate information. It said they last played for the BSC title in 1999, when it was actually 1998. It said that our first round win over UM was played in Bozeman, and of course that game was played in Missoula. And it said that MSU's last NCAA apppearance was in 1986, and we all know that the Cats also went to the tourney in 1996. The story was pulled from the wires, and not originated by the Tribune, but I couldn't believe that any news organization would allow an article to be published with so many factual errors.

And by the way, it's nice to back on BN. This is the first time that I have been able to access BN in almost a week. Thanks to the Mods for getting things fixed, whatever the problem may have been. I had been going through major withdrawal symptoms.
