On my list of things to do before I die...go to a game at Hinkle (Butler) Fieldhouse. Just because of that movie.

Sorry for looking ahead here... but IF we spring another upset tonight... are we guaranteed a spot in the original field or would we be the play-in game?

It's a virtual lock that we would go to the play-in game. So far, Morehead State is the lowest-seeded team to win a conference tourney as a #4 seed. With most of the mid-major conferences already done or almost done, the 'Cats would almost certainly enter the tournament with the worst record of any participant. So, hello play-in game! Given where we were a week ago, however, that's just fine with me!

There's only so many times in your life that you can play for a championship. The men's team know this and are stepping up to an opportunity that few teams have. Can't wait for this game.....this team has resurrected from the dead and are sending the message - e.g. Bynum's Dunk - that they can play with anyone!
Carpe Diem Baby!
GO CATS!!

Not sure if we would automatically be in the play-in game due to our loaction and travel expenses. They could just put us as the 16 seed out west. Does anyone have the rules for teams in the play-in game?
Obvisouly we must earn the right by winning tonite! GO CATS!

This is the only thing I saw about the play-in game. I'd guess it all depends on how other conferences do around the country, but due to strength of conference if the Cats win tonight (and I do think they will) I'd guess they'll get a 16 seed rather than the play-in game.
The Play-In Game
Two teams play the opening round game (colloquially known as the "play-in game") on the Tuesday preceding the first weekend of the tournament, with the winner of that game advancing to the main draw of the tournament and playing a top seed in one of the regionals. This game has been played at the University of Dayton Arena in Dayton, Ohio since its inception in 2001. This game originated in 2001 with the addition of the Mountain West Conference (and its automatic bid into the tournament) after the NCAA tournament committee opted to include an additional team and a play in game in lieu of taking away one of the 34 "at-large" bids.

Great game, great effort, tough loss. Congrats to the Bobcats for making the final game. How many folks a week ago would've give the Cats a chance to even be playing tonight. Go Bobcats!!!!!!

Hell of a game. I'm smiling even though we lost. Great run to end the season and build confidence for next season Bobcats. You made me proud to be a Bobcat this last week.
Talk about a bittersweet moment.
Divaldo, BJ, and Will get on the all tourney team.

Kinda bummed I missed this game. An MSU three-pointer to tie the game, the a dunk by PSU to go ahead with 3 seconds...

What a game, what a tournament. THANK YOU BOBCATS for making a lot of us, myself included, eat our words for writing off the season. I am very, very proud of how hard the team played tonight, but congrats to Portland State!

Congrats on an improbable run through the tournament Cats, too bad it ended up just short! You gave us some hope for next year, and I'm looking forward to seeing what this team can do with some confidence under their belts.
Nothing to be ashamed of!

May have been our best offensive game of the season. I think PSU was just that good. Huse can build on this.
Thank God Dominguez is done (all the league except PSU will rejoice at that). PSU is the type of team that could give somebody fits in the dance.
Now for the ladies to finish the deal.
Go Cats.

Confidence for next year is the big thing...with this run I expect them to be a contender. That may not have happened if they didn't make the run.
