An international field-wow!
Did somebody drop out at the last minute and Lethbridge was all we could get (no disrespect to Lethbridge...) Do they play with 6 men and 12 foot high hoops in Canada

Wasn't there a team from Texas originally scheduled to play in the tournament?

We took care of business against Lethbridge and get Utah Valley tomorrow night in the championship. Utah Valley is a very worthy opponent-at team that has done very well against Big Sky teams this season and in the past.
Will Bynum made a bid for touney MVP tonight. He was all over the place-with 5 steals. Austin Brown was fun to watch in the 2nd half. If he could develop a game like Mecklin Davis did last year (similar sized player) he could really be special. He's an incredible athlete.

A nice little tournament indeed-especially since the home team won it.
Howard was all-tournament and Rush was MVP. Personally I think Toolson from Utah Valley should have been MVP-taking nothing away from Rush. I know the award usually goes to someone from the winning team but I think this year they should have broke with tradition. Also, Bynum didn't have huge offensive numbers in the title game-but his defensive performance both nights was amazing and could have been recognized.
Credit to the Lethbridge team for hanging around for the award ceremony-they got a guy on the all tournament team and he was there to accept the award.

Absolutely - I saw both of Utah Valley's games, and Toolson was clearly the best player on the floor for any of the teams. Fun tournament, and I agree that it was nice to see Lethbridge stick around. In fact, they also deserve a lot of thanks for agreeing to come down and play on short notice after the original 4th team canceled.BelgradeBobcat wrote: Howard was all-tournament and Rush was MVP.
