Why in the world are we playing a road game against Southern Miss on January 24th right in the middle of conference play? The bracket buster game is fine, but what is the need to travel all the way across the country for this?

Sorry if this has been discussed before, but I haven't seen it.

You'll have to ask Doug Fullerton, but my guess is that with nine teams in the BSC and the BSC using a computer to make the conference schedule it was just an open date that needed to be filled.
