MBB: Boise tonight

D still needs work, Brad & company will get it together- like Tom Domako said about a week ago 'you can teach defense, you can't teach shooting'.

Tough loss 74-61, but I think the Cats will do fine with a tough pre-conference schedule.

During the second half Boise had so man back door layups it was frustrating to watch. They would drive and our big guys would leave the boise defenders behind them and boise would dish it to a big ugly for a layup. Noonan for Boise was outstanding. That kid can shoot the rock. I think he had four 3's in the first half...all from the elbow.

It looks like we need to be bigger down low. We had a hard time getting the ball inside. Also boise did well on their transitions.

On a side note, I had a fun time heckling the band members. When they yelled Go Broncos, I yelled GO CATS even louder. I got the stink eye from a souazaphone player more than once. O and I sat by a guy from Havre who was rooting for the broncos...i thought that was weird.

Our second half D was atrocious..... It looks like they figured out at the half, if the spread their offense out, all they would have to do is make a move towards the basket, dish, and get an easy lay up. That play accounted for a majority of their points the second half.

We have a young, talented team. I'm excited to watch this team grow.

The game didn't go the way I wanted, but I had a great time watching the cats give the Broncos all they wanted. It was great to see all the cat fans at the game last night....

DD, I agree with you. Second half we were just bad.
Great to meet you and see the other Cats at the game. Off to the airport to fly home now.
