I couldn't remember who it was that had the special fan to ref relationship with Eric Curry.

Seems to me he had moved on to games in bigger conferences like the Pac-12 and Mountain West. Now he's baaaaaaaaccccckkk!!!

No, it wasn't me, I just can't stand him. It was the poster formerly known as longhorn22, now CatBlitz. I watched in disbelief and astonishment when Curry had him tossed from a game... I don't think he even said anything vulgar... Maybe he used his last name; something like "Curry, you're horrible!" I've actually heard that a time or two from Chris Attebury and Curry never tossed him!

The real story is that my buddy and I had been chosen to participate in a TV timeout "human barrel race"-type shindig. As we were waiting for the green light, we were standing next to Eric Curry and I took the opportunity to inform him that the other team was holding too much under the basket. For whatever reason, he didn't like that. Not one bit. I'm not sure if he thought I just came down there to talk shi* or if his skin is as thin as Colin Mochrie's hair. But anyway, he said something like "You can't come down here and talk to us like that! Who do you think you are?!"
I was kind of beside myself and I didn't quite know what to do. In my moment of panic I missed the start of the barrel race and we lost. On my way off the court his referee buddy said I was gone. I said "Nope" and continued to walk to my seat. I then pleaded with an MSU representative and I was allowed to move sections and stay hidden for the rest of the game. Eric did nothing to help his image that day. And he still sucks as a ref.

My memory is foggy from what transpired for us to come up with "Eric Curry makes me sad." I don't remember if we yelled it or we created a sign with that on it to what it has become today. Anyways, ever since that incident occurred, Mr. Curry and his hair have become sworn enemies of mine, even though it makes me laugh that Mr.Blitz was ejected from the game by a ref.

I suppose it was karma from years and years of yelling at refs.

Mr. Harris from Portland State will never be the same...
