There are missed calls in every game but for crying out loud UNC player double dribbles at 4;18 left in the game with no call.
Then as the play continues UNC center Jongkuch enters the lane at 4:09 and stays there till the ball goes through the hoop at 4:01.
What the hell are the refs looking at? I can understand speed of the game making calls difficult, but those 2 infractions require nothing but simple observation.

Wow, UNCU blows a huge lead but survives as EWU misses 3 shots at the end including a 2-footer at the buzzer that looked easier to make than miss. The basketball gods must have been evening out the scales a bit after the end of the MSU game.

I learned from Colter that the gris play the best defense in the conference. I was not aware of that.Joe Bobcat wrote: ↑Thu Mar 10, 2022 6:42 pmI don't know if it's already been posted, and it's kind of looking backwards but the Big Sky Basketball Championship - Pregame Show

The clear and undisputed biggest fanbase for this year's basketball tournament in Boise belongs to the Montana State Bobcats who have far and away more fans than anybody else here including the gris. We are also only one of two schools to bring their band, the other being NAU.MSU01 wrote: ↑Thu Mar 10, 2022 9:04 pmMy favorite part of the Speltz article was how the Gris fans travel better than any other team in the Big Sky. I really didn't care which team we got to play in the semifinal but if the Gris were going to experience a beat down I wish it was the Bobcats that got to deliver it. I hope we can really take it to Weber tomorrow.

Yep! And how can you beat a basketball Friday like tomorrow. Bobcat ladies in the Championship at 1 pm and Bobcat men in the Semis against a tough foe at 5:30 pm……. There’s still room for more good Bobcat fans!!
Load up the fans and show up in Boise! Tailgates at White Dog before ladies game and before semis.

I see Weber is a 1 or 1.5 point favorite (depending on which site you use) for tonight. Surprises me but that's ok. It'll make my payout bigger.

Re: Big Sky Tournament
The thing that concern me is MSU was a -2 point favorite last night - bets coming in for Weber or Vegas knows something we don't?

My guess is that the shift can be explained by Weber having better name recognition as one of the top teams in the Big Sky year in and year out.

That's my first thought as well. We definitely played our starters fewer minutes than Weber did, as I think we have a deeper bench.MSU01 wrote: ↑Fri Mar 11, 2022 9:43 amMy guess is that the shift can be explained by Weber having better name recognition as one of the top teams in the Big Sky year in and year out.
Hopefully X's ankle, Belo's knee responded well and aren't dealing with any swelling or extreme soreness today. Also hope Battle is on the upswing and hasn't passed his stomach bug on to any teammates.

Is today the biggest day in the history of Bobcat basketball?. I’m so nervous and excited I can hardly stand it.

Does anyone know why the Lady Cat game hasn't started? There's nothing on the Bobcat radio or ESPN+

Re: Big Sky Tournament
Looking forward to this MSU vs NAU women's game and was reminded that Coach Binford and Coach Payne have a common connection back in their college playing careers. They both played for Coach June Daughrety who passed away last summer.
