Um, lowering a shoulder and running sideways is a charge. Moron refs. That’s three times today.

We win this game easily if they actually call fouls on ID.

We win if we don’t miss layups and free throws, and shoot better than freezing temps.

Oof, not a great game tonight. Thought they had it when they went up 5 in OT but guess not. Cats will need help now for a regular season title. Idaho's toughest remaining game is at Idaho State where MSU also lost.

I afraid this team is going to have one of these stinkers in the Big Sky tournament. When players are left unguarded and wide open they have to hit more of those open shots. At least they have a few more weeks to get a little bit older...this team is so incredibly young and it just shows sometimes.

I feel as hard as we were getting hammered played into it.

But yes, when they leave Jamison wide open all night she needs to drive and make some wide open 10 foot jumpers.

I said in another thread Cats need to shoot 25% or better on 3s to win. Didn't do it. I know it's the offense they run but need something else to go to on the nights they don't fall.

Oh my gosh! Idaho is not even trying to guard the three. It's wide wide open. More open than warmups...and we're 1-15! If a few start to fall we'll get a lead on them but geez how can we shoot this bad?
We are hesitating to look for passes. Coaches need to tell them to catch and launch in rhythm, just like practice or warmups. They are shooting flat-footed, being out of rhythm.

The only thing consistent about these officials is their inconsistency.
Their inconsistency looked more random to me. If you can’t rely on inconsistency, it’s a tough game. This crew (at least 2/3) has been horrible for 20 years.

Jamison needs to drive if they are going to be some far off her. Draw the center out and then hit a cutting player.
Jamison is driving but as soon as they cut her off, she picks up the dribble, instead of probing and backing off. Gets stranded in the key.

The positives here are that both ISU and UI showed how they are going to play us. Come tourney time, we should have a plan in place to counter what they do.

Credit to Idaho. They dared us to take open shots and we couldn't make them. I would have liked to see Jamison take 7-8 more mid range shots. I know she's having an awful shooting year but you gotta shoot your way out of a slump. She'll get there. Would have liked to see Couture or Bailey take more of those as well. Bailey needs to flatten her FT's a little. Her high arcing shot bounces away if it hits any rim at all.

Let's go win at EWU. Be a nice response after this loss and almost losing to them at home.

I’m always kinda partial to the small town kids but I kinda wanted my Saco lady Teagan to see more time. She had good production off the bench in game. She only got 14 minutes tonight but led the team in rebounding with 8. Was a perfect 2 for 2 at free throw line and 1 for 1 from the arc. That to go with a total 3 for 5 from the floor. Teagan just needs another year in the weight room to get some physical toughness inside. Like Idaho State this was a tough physical defensive game.

Hopefully recover in time to drub Eastern Washington. We only beat them by two at home so can’t let guard down and have to be back up ready to go.

It looks like to me that the better teams are figuring out t defend the Cats. The helter skelter pressure D works great when it works but when it doesn’t you have to make shots from the perimeter. If I was a player I would be offended by the fact they begging the Cats to shoot.
