Logie explains it clearly in his post game comments.
I've never seen a post-game interview for Logie. Are they posted somewhere? Or did you just hear it on the radio? What exactly was said?

I usually try to catch the interview after the game on a radio or similar type of audio provider. You can however watch the interview in videos like this one: Logies interview starts at 2:4845

He clearly does I guess. Doesn't answer my question. If you have someone who can help you win, even if it is 4 or 5 minutes a game, why would you not use him. Rotation was set based on playing wellbut losing games? Logie seems to have a very tight rotation and much different than the women. Shoot we have had some big the last couple years who take up a scholarship and never play. With the portal it just seems strange I you knew he would be ready prior to conference play. Especially since an injury to others can occur at any time.

You have every right to disagree with the explanation. It's all about optimizing results and reasonable people can disagree.

While registering my vehicles the assessor stated "I have had both Cat and Griz students and alums work for me and the Griz end up working under the direction of the Cats."
