Chirrick put on an absolute clinic tonight, her best sequence was in the second quarter when she had 4 points, an assist, and 3 steals in 37 seconds of game time. Then Harris hit a 3 capping off a 9-0 run in under a minute. This team might be even better than last year's when all is said and done.

Chirrick has no business being in the big sky conference. I really hope we can keep her in Bozeman her entire career. Luckily she is from in state, which gives me hope that she will stay.

She is so good.

I don't think that's a stretch at all. The athleticism and tenacity of Binford's team seems to be increasing every year. I can't wait to watch the Cats play UNLV in the Brick.

This team will be better than last year’s, or maybe is already. That was a big-time win. Overall height is decreased slightly, but team speed (and quickness) and dare I say athleticism is up — no doubt. If they can find some three-point shooting, it’s lights out. They had shot after shot against Portland. If they shoot in the high 30s it will complement the inside game very well. Notice how layins are being laid in, and the number of “circus shots” are decreased? That was an Achilles heel last year. The inside game continued to work against Portland’s superior height. I had to grin a little at the beginning of the game when the announcers said the defenses were a push — I just thought, if they had any idea what was going to happen.

The team will be better, but I’m not expecting 30 wins because of the increased strength of the schedule. As I said before, by the end of the season this will be a snarling clowder of ‘Cats. Boy, are they fun to watch! 💙💛😺
