Men's team;
PG Ford III
SG Patterson
SF McMahan
PF Lecholat
C Ohmsted
If we go traditional.

Back ups receiving significant time
Miller
Goracke
Turner III
Gair
Nduka

This is my uninformed guess on how things shake out. It is fairly difficult to know with new coaches and a new system. what I do know is that I am truly looking forward to seeing if we can continue to have success in the basketball department. it would be awesome if basketball can stay with football on the success scale.

Haven't thought of it a lot I want to see some of the new guys on the floor

For sure starters

Brandon Walker - will be a beast, the transfer I am most excited about.
Brian Goracke - Already hearing indications that the coaches are very high on him.

My next group all have a chance at starting

Chika Nduka
Brendon McMahon
Tyler Patterson
Sam Lechoat
Eddie Turner
Robert Ford

Unknowns
Aiden Gair
Jaden Geron
Jed Miller - I really like his play and potential as a freshman, but others whom I respect, were not that high on him

Very wait and see
John Olmsted - yes a transfer from Arizona, but was a walk-on there
Jaqari Miles - I think he was a steal but still a freshman
Carter Ash
Royce Robinson - freshman walk-on -nuff said
Cam Rutherford - freshman walk-on -nuff said

I read this twice and don't see Patrick McMahan. Is he still in the team?

I'll be pretty surprised if Goracke doesn't start, he turned down D-1 offers to go to Point Loma so he has the talent to play at this level, and it's definitely telling that he was the one guy Logie brought with him from PL to MSU. I'm very excited to see what McMahon can do, he did some really eye-catching things early last year before the unfortunate injury. Robert Ford withdrawing from the transfer portal was also huge, he's not Harald Frey but I think that like Sprinkle benefitted by having Frey on the team as a senior PG his first year, Logie will see a similar benefit with Ford.

My stab at the women's team:

Limardo
Deden
Dykstra
Philip
Berry

Janssen is a senior but because Binford likes to revolve two groups of five I suspect she will still come off the bench. We have three seniors and no juniors on this team so it is a total crap shoot who will get playing time beyond the seniors. Could be just about anybody among the newcomers and returning sophomores.

I picked the same starters as you but admit I am driven by familiarity and have not observed the newcomers or watched much film. On my watch list is sophomore Drea Brumfield, the transfer from Pepperdine and highly touted Washington girls hoop star, who has experience playing against good D1 teams and worked her way in to playing nearly 30 minutes per game for the last six games or so at Pepperdine…as a true freshman…just wondering if she will work her way into the starting line up in time. Also Mattie Olson came with a good resume from Idaho but injuries hindered court time as a freshman….can she be a good contributor off the bench. And I am anxious to see the skill sets of the other new freshmen ladies and see if Lindsey Hein injuries have improved.

Probably kinda hard to tell anything at this point.

Keep your eye on Drea Brumfield. She started 6 games for Pepperdine as a true freshman. She averaged 3 pts 2 rebounds for last season she came on strong at the end of the season (when she got her starts) and averaged 7 points 3 rebs over the last 5 games of the season. In high school, she was ranked as one of the state of Washington's top 1-3 players (depending on who is doing the rankings). Her senior year was hailed as the best pure 3-point shooter to come out of the state of Washington in the past 5 years. She has set quite a few records for her shot-blocking prowess. She has the versatility to play any/all 3 front-court spots in Binford's system, although I don't think she is quite the banger like Deden or Badbear were last season. All of that said the Bobcats are going to be loaded at the front-court positions with Deden, Limardo, Dykstra, and Jansen (all of whom I believe will start sometime in the season), I think it might come more down to fit/chemistry/match-ups than pure talent.

Oh yeah I forgot to Mention Brumfield was a 4-star prospect (ProspectNation.com) coming out of high school!
