Wetzel hired as men's basketball coach at Dickinson State

DICKINSON, N.D. – Justin Wetzel, a former assistant for the men’s basketball team at Montana State Billings and Montana State, has been named the head coach at Dickinson State.
Wetzel has more than 10 years of coaching experience, most recently at MSU.
He was an assistant at MSUB from 2008-13, helping the Yellowjackets win their first Great Northwest Athletic Conference title in 2012 and advance to the NCAA Division II national tournament.
Wetzel spent last season wth MSU in Bozeman.
In the spring of 2008, the Cut Bank native took over the Butte Daredevils of the Continental Basketball Association in mid-season, becoming the youngest head coach of a professional sports team.
Dickinson State is transitioning from the Frontier Conference to the North Star Athletic Association for the 2014-15 season.

Awesome for Coach Wetzel. Interesting fact: I read the press release on the DSU site. Coach Wetzel is the youngest person to ever be a head coach at the high school, professional and now college levels.
I remember reading an article when he was first hired at MSU; amazing person who overcome so much.
