WBB vs. Denver

Post by bozbobcat » Sun Nov 24, 2013 6:30 pm

I have some happy Bobcat news to report...the women's basketball team won today! They beat the University of Denver 89-69. It was a close game for the first half, but the Cats put them away. Sophomore forward Jasmine Hommes had a really strong game, scoring 16 points. The new basketball rules are going to see teams shooting a lot of free throws and needing depth on the bench. MSU did a better job navigating this than Denver did. The ladies looked good today and it was a very nice win.

GO CATS!
It's always a good day to be a Bobcat fan! :) =D^ \:D/
My name is Steve, if you'd like to know.

I wish I could have gone to that. Good win. If Bobcat fans are going to have any joy this winter, besides a stellar football recruiting class, it will come from the women's basketball team!

The BSC could be wide open this year. It'll be fun to see if the Ladies can grab a title. The pieces are there.

Hats for bats. Keeps bats warm.

Yes indeed, this was good tonic for my "Bobcat Hangover"! I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and depth on this team. Hommes was outstanding and may just fill the void left from Rachel Semansky graduating.

As you say this may be out best hope for some fun this winter!
