assuming it is true that he is leaving... Good luck to you kramer, I wish you the best at Idaho. Although there has been some negatives with the football program over the past few years, I would say that there has been way more positives.
Hopefully we can get this drug problem under control with some of our players, but overall you have taken MSU from a winless program to a playoff caliber team- hopefully for many years to come.
I hope our new coach will be able to build off what you have accomplished.

I agree with what you are saying.....but I had an epiphany this year at the Cat Griz game. While sitting in Washington Grizzly stadium....name an in state kid (if pursued) by UM wouldn't go there? There is only a limited amount of D1 kids in our state....so in reality, the Griz get the cream of the crop and we get the leftovers.

Have you told Daly, Hoffenbecker, Person, Green, Gazzero, Fletcher, Desin, Barnhart, Bostick, Decock or any of the other pretty good players that UM talked to about your theory.

Disagree. I just want the new coach to recruit MORE here. The Montana guys we get are terrific.

Its funny that I saw this post today, I was just talking to Lex's sister n law, she said that at one point Lex was ready to go to MSU. Wow! I dont know why we lost him, but dang! Perhaps the larger scholorships were going out of state kids. All speculation, but a good kid gone griz.

somehow the females connected to the players and coaches seem to have all kinds of "true" information...Maybe Lex was ready to go to MSU when he was 10, but he more or less committed to them in his junior year.

The only problem is, the talent pool is only so deep in Montana, and it varies from year to year. To be competitive, we HAVE to recruit out of state kids. That being said, I wish we recruited Colorado, Oregon and Minnesota more....
